ABOUT US
Push-Up Bra LA began on March 8, 2020, with a sold-out live music showcase featuring an all-women lineup. Since then, we’ve grown into a nonprofit dedicated to creating innovative, empowering, and educational experiences for women and gender-diverse people in music. Our mission is to champion gender equality while increasing visibility and paid opportunities for women through initiatives like all-femme songwriting camps, live music showcases, mentorship for teen girls, networking events, and more.
Over the past six years, Push-Up Bra LA has:
• Showcased 60 femme artists across 13 live music events.
• Generated a catalog of 60+ hit-worthy songs through our all-femme songwriting camps.
• Connected more than 3,000 women through our events, building a community that celebrates one another’s success.
• Provided hands on music mentorship for teen girls through our immersive songwriting camps and real world shadowing experiences. Boosting confidence, community, and a sense of belonging while empowering the next generation of women in music.
“After ten years in the music industry, I became painfully aware of how rarely women are given the respect, opportunities, and compensation they deserve. Push-Up Bra LA was born from a desire to change that - to create spaces where women are paid well, championed, connected, and inspired. My hope is that everyone who joins our writing camps, showcases, or events walks away feeling genuinely seen and appreciated, and holds onto that feeling as they continue their careers.”
